Overview:
We are seeking a skilled OT Cyber Defence Centre Analyst to support a major organisation in safeguarding critical national infrastructure. This role is pivotal in enhancing operational technology security by detecting, responding to, and mitigating cyber threats within the Cyber Defence Centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OT environments and cyber incident response. The salary is competitive and they’re offering a 7.5% on target bonus too!
Key Responsibilities:

• Cybersecurity Monitoring: Maintain and enhance the effectiveness of OT security monitoring solutions.
• Incident Response: Execute and improve response plans for cyber incidents within OT environments, focusing on containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Vulnerability Management: Identify and assess OT system vulnerabilities and collaborate with relevant stakeholders for remediation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT and Engineering/Operations teams to resolve incidents effectively and promptly.
• Documentation: Accurately record all incidents, assessments, and remediation actions in a structured and consistent manner.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and refinement of cybersecurity policies and procedures.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity environments
• Strong knowledge of incident response frameworks within industrial networks
• Familiarity with security monitoring tools and techniques specific to OT
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Proven ability to work under pressure and respond swiftly to incidents

Desirable:

• Experience in critical national infrastructure sectors
• Relevant certifications (e.g., GICSP, SANS ICS, or similar)
• Experience with SIEM tools and OT-specific threat intelligence
