Full-Stack Developer

Senior Full-Stack Developer | UK based | Remote | £55,000–£65,000

We’re hiring an ambitious Senior Full-Stack Developer who’s hands-on, ownership-driven, and thrives in fast-paced environments. This is a role for someone who’s software-first, building the digital backbone of a product that exists both in code and in the physical world. You’ll have the freedom to shape architecture, influence delivery, and set engineering standards from the ground up.

The Role:

We’re partnering with a dynamic, high-growth startup creating meaningful impact through cutting-edge technology. This product combines software, data and while your focus is software engineering, you’ll be contributing to a system that interacts with real-world devices.
You’ll own major parts of the stack end-to-end: planning, building, improving, and maintaining features across web, backend, and supporting systems. Expect high autonomy, the ability to make technical decisions that matter, and the chance to mentor and guide future engineers as the team scales.
You’ll work closely with founders, shaping product direction and ensuring the platform stays reliable, scalable, and efficient.

Tech Stack You’ll Be Working With:

  • React & Next.js
  • Node.js & TypeScript
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • WebSockets
  • React Native (not essential)
  • Experience or interest in connected devices / hardware (e.g., firmware, IoT interactions, real-time device data) is highly desirable but not essential

What You Bring:

  • Strong commercial experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD, testing, and modern engineering workflows
  • Ability to work across backend and web, with bonus points for mobile exposure
  • A proactive, ambitious mindset, someone who takes initiative and gets things done
  • Experience mentoring, supporting, or guiding other engineers
  • UK-based, fully comfortable with remote, autonomous work
  • Curiosity or familiarity with products that interface with hardware (wearables, IoT, embedded systems, or live data environments)

If you want to take ownership of a real product, move fast, and make a genuine impact within an exciting startup building software that connects to real hardware used in the field, we’d love to hear from you.
